Pink flowers

by PeterKR

Another pseudo close-up using the DA18-135 at 135mm and the K-r on Av.
This one used f/11 as the flower heads were 'flatter' so I didn't need so much DoF, and it has helped blur the background.

Red campion. one of the huge variety in the 'Silene' family. That lens does a creditable job with flowers.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Many thanks, David.
I must experiment with using this lens at lower zooms e.g. in the 80-100mm range but the problem for pseudo close-ups then becomes it's minimum focus distance?

Thanks again
Peter
