Very good, strong composition. I think it would have been even better without the living tree behind, but not much you could do about this!
I first saw this as a new tree/shoot growing from the old/dead tree... and so a brilliant juxtaposition. So a (typically bwlchmawr) fascinating shot, although the horizon cuts through the interest a bit !
