Bougainvillea: The Actual 5mm Flower

An actual Bougainvillea flower is a very tiny 5mm in diameter. It is surrounded by dozens of what look like large flower petals, but which are in fact leaves---colourful though they may be. A Raynox 150 diopter lens magnified a flower, shown here accompanied by two buds.
