Remaining taken with the Sigma 150-500. This next one could have been sharper, but I still like it as a picture

Fanstastic stuff Alan. The shots showing St Mary's Lighthouse must have been on a very long lens - was it the long end of the 500?.

A good set. My favourite is no.3 -- gives meaning to the phrase 'stretching to infinity'.

Thanks for feedback - much appreciated. Got a camera club comp coming up, with the theme "Decay and Dereliction". I went to take pics of the old outfall pipe with the comp in mind. Reckon I have an entry in number 3. Was going to leave the Sigma 150-500 at home. Wasn't expecting surfers early in the morning, so those shots came as a bonus. To answer David's question, the lighthouse ones were at 500mm

Love this set Alan ! Especially the Surfer at dawn (don't always have to be sharp to be good) and Paddle surfer (maybe you could try selective lightening of the surfer - especially his face - to see if it improves it further).

Thanks for the comments everyone. The paddle surfer is my favourite, which I'll tweak as suggested. Think the spray makes it, which was down to luck. Watching him was a novelty, as I've never seen it before
