The gloaming light just before sunset, finding a way through the western edge of a storm front to the west, catching the edges and base of some of the clouds above the north east side of the Dart valley

Looking towards Dartmeet (the confluence of the East & West Dart Rivers to form the River Dart). The slopes of Yartor Down, Sharp Tor can be seen in the middle distance, Combestone Wood lies in the immediate valley floor. Arch Tor, Merripit Hill, Broad Down and Stanton Tor can be seen towards the far distance in the North

Hoya circular polarizer – to act as an Neutral Density standard filter (approx 2-stops)

POD bean bag support

Aperture = f/13
Focal length = 18mm
Exposure length = 1 second

Image stabilization ‘on’
Pseudo-HDR image created from Split-RAW processing to create three 16-Bit TIFFs (-2, 0, +2 ev equivalents).

Pseudo-HDR was created using Photomatix Pro 3.26.

Further work in Lightroom and Photoshop.
