Iím aware that some lens data does exist within the EXIF (but not always), but itís not in the native lens EXIF field which the current system reads. Hoping to sort all this out early next week. Rick

Just removed the Copyright symbol using DXO Optics Pro, the EXIF data was corrected. Although I don't know what lens you'd used in this instance. Link Removed That confirms my suspicions, I'll look at seeing if I can prevent it happening in the future next week, but at least for now we know the probable culprit. Rick

The problem will be resolved, I don't know the history of the issue or the reason it hasn't been addressed before, but it will be fixed. I fully appreciate the frustration involved for the limited few experiencing it, but I've only just picked this up, I'm pretty certain that I've identified the root cause and it's just a case of confirming it is what I suspect it is and prevent it happening for future uploads. Bear with me, I only want the same as you do, simplicity and ease of use while using the site. Rick

Hi, As you may have noticed, Iíve been looking into improving the way EXIF data is displayed on the site. After reviewing 100s of photos, is seems that the lens data isnít always guaranteed to be present, so as an initial solution Iíve offered the option to choose a lens from our database at the point of upload. Whilst investigating this upgrade, Iíve noticed that your files donít seem to be consistent with everyone elses, the data seems to be corrupt/fragmented. Iím not 100% sure whether this is coming straight from your camera, or if itís a case that your post processing method is causing it. Ideally I like to see one of your files straight out of camera, so if youíd like to PM or submit a report Iíll provide you with an email address to send me a sample file to. Rick

Looking to buy the above lens, DA version with quick shift and weather resistance. Preferably in excellent condition, not too fussed about box or hood. Roughly £80 via PayPal, anyone got one laying around doing nothing that theyíd like to sell? Rick
Thank you
