Well frozen. You can feel the action. The PP blur is rather obvious but I think it's very effective - perhaps the mask could be tidied up a little around the body?

Great image. Would love that as a large print.

Lovely. I like the tones and I like the originality of the composition.

Here is Bill where is Ben border=

That's grand, very grand. I trust I'll be seeing that again, with the tip of the slippers (you know what they're like).

Nocturne - Totnes Christmas Market border=

Wonderful set of ICMs. I think I most like your first 'Inside the Market Square'. I wish I could master the technique.

Love it. Takes me back in time. Shots like that don't half drain your battery.

I like the image (it's the sort of shot I'd take if I saw it), but I'm not sure about the processing. I don't know what's going on with the sky but on my screen there's a lot of noise and banding and big halos around the edges. It looks like the sky was very bright and you've darkened it, with 8 bit processing. Perhaps that's the effect you were after?

Silver Birch border=

I really like this. I've attempted the technique and never achieved this level of success.

Pixelated pigeon border=

I like it, even if it does look a bit like a scan of the bird's digestive tract!

Lovely fiery colours. I too think dawn and dusk are great times for landscape, but you have to work fast, and be prepared to be up at unsociable hours!

That's beautiful. At first I wasn't sure about having the person in the centre but now I like it. It makes them feel a bit ominous and contrasts with the serenity.

One Sheep Hill border=

Well spotted. It's the sort of thing you normally see down a dark alley. Never seen it in an open field before.

Interesting window and well taken. Surprised it's as fast as 1/200s.

Excellent and thanks. I've now got a new excuse for not cleaning the windows.

Inside St Pauls border=

Ely don't charge for a photo permit for stills, although they do ask for £2 if you want to shoot video or use a tripod, which seems reasonable. Also, there's no entrance charge on a Sunday or before 9am or after 5pm, although of course they'd always appreciate a donation. I must go back soon!

Inside St Pauls border=

Got the tripod in no worries.Well done! I didn't think they permitted photography inside St Paul's, let alone tripods. It was the same at Durham when I visited recently, which was a shame. At least Ely are more welcoming.
