Whisps of Wheat

by LennyBloke

The beautiful blend of subtle colours stood out in this little patch near the wheat field edge. I took several shots to find the right depth of field and overexposed a little to suit the colour palette (I nearly always under-expose)! Needs to be seen large to get the best effect

You are right - it needs full screen to get the best of it and the result is absolutely beautiful. ....... But I think you need to change 'wheat' to 'barley'

Hmmm, I was under the impression I was walking around the fields where Waitrose grow their Wheat for their own brand Leckford flour - but there were several different types of grassy stemmed things with bits on the top, so I bow to your superior knowledge

Well taken! I love the sight of lovely wavy 'grass'. One would think It would be easy to take and show as you would like, its not though.
Excellent shot.

Barley it is. And it is beautifully captured.

I concur with David and Gopher. As you say, best viewed large!
