When the boat comes in

by Flan

Wasn't expecting this on a walk along the estuary but a quick shot or four was required, it was quite dull but brightened a bit in edit

Didn't someone take a ship on a similar sort of trip along the Suez Canal fairly recently?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

The ships pilot in this case David probably is the harbour master onboard so no mistakes as it enters the furthest up river a vessel can make.
The much bigger vessels come into Foynes port about 20 30 miles down the estuary and bigger again vessels up to three hundred thousand tonnes arrive at Alcan Aluminium on Aughinish island Askeaton in the lower esturary, The Ruskies own it for the last 25 odd years

It was half four in the afternoon and very dull almost dark when this bright vessel appeared out of nowhere as i was preoccupied looking elsewhere with a tripod no less.
So exposed quickly for the highlights on the ship and edited it later in the week and the sky is magenta an blue and containing artefacts too because maybe a glass of wine or two was also involved in the edit.
