Eastbound BNSF Coal Passing The Flatirons

A Burlington Northern Sante Fe coal train eastbound from Utah to Denver and then heading south to Texas, passes Plain siding on the west side of the Denver area. In the background are the impressive Flatirons rock formations. More frequently photographed from the perspective of downtown Boulder, this shot is looking north along the Front Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

I just sold a Tamron 28 - 300mm zoom and bought a Pentax 55 - 300mm lens. I like the difference...

Fantastic shot. Would I love to see that scene! (But wouldn't want to drop in to Mile High to see the Broncos! Unless they were playing the Packers, that is.)
