Good idea, although a wee bit more on the focus, and moving the subject (onion)down to the bottom left hand corner of the frame. or move the subject down to the old 1/3thirds composition position and use a shallow depth of field just to hold the shoots in focus hope you don't mind my comments. I suspect this pic is cropped... regards Ron

Totally agree - very new to close up and practising hard.

Everything is possible - just not today.
