The Fate Of The Old ME!

Photo Information
A serious altercation took place yesterday when an elderly member of the Pentax family was set upon by members of the Canon and Nikon gangs. Onlookers were astounded by the degree of ordnance deployed by the assailants; Lens hoods, filters, tripods and even a flash unit was mentioned by eye-witnesses! However, Mr Pentax’s secret weapon, his red, yellow and green LEDs, was used to good effect and was able to disarm the attackers. The Canikons were in serious need of medical attention following which they were arrested for indecent exposure - f11 at a 60th! Mr.Pentax let it be known that “it was just a scratch” and that he would be back up and running tomorrow!
Apologies to those who've already endured this on Facebook!

What a really sad story Paul, and I don't expect the truth was any better.
Did you manage to get a shot of the steamroller just before it hit?
It's a good job you weren't using the K1.

Condolences, Bob

Thanks for the reactions folks! You might remember that this was one of a bunch of four I bought last year with the intention of deconstructing at least one to get to learn my way around the camera. Even an ME Super has quite a complex set-up I discovered!
