Just over this hill...

by isdky

Recently got back from a camping trip in Troutbeck, Penrith - Lake District. I have hundreds of shots to work through - should keep me busy!

This is the loooonnnng road to our campsite from the mainroad, made a good walk for the dogs though.

Taken with a Pentax ist*DS with Pentacon 39-80mm f/3.5 MF lens with CP and ND grad filters.

Surprisingly, it only rained on the last day of the three (the day we needed to pack the tent!).

Are you sure this is Penrith? - it looks far too sunny compared to when I go there

love that sky and the light just sneaking below the cloud but I am with Larry on this one - camping there - no thanks!
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

We had two days of glorious sunshine (believe it or not!) - the other half even got a sun-burnt forehead, nose and ears!

I think the polariser and grad filters helped set a more threatening mood! - in reality, the clouds where just passing by...
