Black & white photo featuring a Leben CS-600 amplifier, lid removed - showing two sets of tubes: Four 6CS7 tubes form the driver/preamp stage and four driver tubes, in my current setup, they're Russian 80s productions from Reflector of the 6P3S-E type (semi-equivalent to the 5881/6L6).
The 6CS7 tubes are from the 70s, and the driver tubes are from the 80s. Both sets aquired as New Old Stock (NOS).

Love this!!!
But...
I've known them as Valve Amps.... that's what me (I am a guitarist) and every other guitarist, sound engineer, guitar tech, roadie, and... i say this with regret.... bass players (:lol I have run in to call them!

Thank you - and good point! American English seems to favour 'tubes', whereas British English favours 'valves', both words of Latin origin, 'valva' vs' 'tubus'.
Here in Denmark, I've mostly been exposed to the American usage, so I've used 'tubes' in the description.The manufacturer of the amplifier, Japanese Leben Hi-Fi Stereo Company, use 'tube' on their website and manuals. So both should work
Google has 5.5 million hits for 'tube amplifier' vs '527,000 for 'valve amplifier'.
On a related note, most of the common tube/valve varieties have two designations, e.g. 'ECC82' in European usage vs '12AU7' in US usage.
