Great shot..... the atmosphere in this is so great you'd need a sledge hammer to crack it!!!

No mosquito bites Go4IT, we have lovely flies in the Emerald Isle.
These flies were a mixture of may fly and olives and nothing like the midges that would eat ones neck alive on a damp humid mid july day on a wild river

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. i must get out more often to the countryside but difficult set of circumstances currently. i haven't had an overnight stay anywhere in years.

Thanks so much davidrobison, and yes the man was completely unaware of my presence in the couple of photos i had taken but he soon copped on
we shared the early morning light along with the hatch of flies for a few moments
All was good in the world
