A bit of experimentation today for a half an hour or so.
I had a 6 stop nd polariser filter on, to allow a slower shutter and i chose one sixth of a second at f9 roughly, no tripod but its kind of icm, even though i remained as still as i could.

It is a river stripping off its tide funnelling between the arches of a bridge, hence the turbulence.
