Stationary moment.

I was trying to achieve moments with movement about but the old city was quiet today i managed to get this shot and nothing else. it is the first black and white i have processed in rawtherapee. All critiques are welcome for my learning of this digital editing world.

That's an interesting idea worth developing I think. I also like that you have ensured the verticals are vertical (so many don't!).
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Photography has been described as time frozen. Here, you have delivered "frozenish", as it were. The comparative progression---as in "good, better, best"--- is another way to put it. Like.

Thanks for the comments, davidwozhere, I know what you mean about the verticals when you look at others work but some are intentionally a style. I tend to be a bit of a straight

Thanks leep , the viewpoint was a public stone sitting bench and luckily another couple vacated the seat.
