My back garden

Photo Information
The result of leaving it fallow for the Month of May for nature. i also liked the wildness
i really have a bit of work ahead to bring it back and i also feel rather guilty and lazy if i am being honest

No need to apologise or engage in self-flagellation. Going forward, one compromise would be to split, say, one-fifth 'wild' (but managed) four-fifths 'formal'. I believe it's called "Having your cake and eating it!"

Fine photo, by the way.

Thanks Prsjnb , i normally leave little areas for that purpose and this is the fourth year in a row I've left everything grow in the month of May .
I've observed house martins hovering above the taller grasses fluttering their wings frantically in a dance, like they are trying to entice fly life to emerge.
i might wait just for the weekend to see can i photograph this

My kind of shot...as prsjnb says though don't apologize.

Last year we left about 7-8 square meters of a notoriously difficult corner of the lawn to cut and sowed it with wildflower seed...paying dividends now and i'm going to leave it like that and let nature decide what to do with it. No guilt whatsoever.
