Very Nice not easy to capture a BIF
A question is only easy when you know the answer ..

Thanks Maranatha, there's plenty of gulls down here in Limerick city, so probably more opportunities to capture the screamers by the river estuary.
i find that AFC works very well most of the time when one pans the subject with a high shutter speed. Once focus confirmed just shoot as it really keeps up but you must be on focus spot metering as well or it goes downhill pretty quickly.

Thanks go4IT. just keep the subject central for focus as you can always crop a bit later for composition

Really a good picture. Very difficult to take pics of these subjects.

Thanks Tommyt and Thanks Leep
Im beginning to trust the higher iso abilities of the K1ii (its just hard for me:wink and they are impressive
this one was 640 iso and very little if anything at all in loss or noise.
i might even go higher someday when shutter speed is paramount still learning and my poor k70 is not feeling the Love currently so i must give her a hug soon and ask her out
