Stormy Day

They might keep on coming haha...took nearly 200 photos over the 4 days. This was on the last afternoon, stormy/rainy and rather gloomy during the day - then they turned on the lights making it a bit more interesting to photograph.
On the bright side, there weren't many people around. The people in the picture turned out to be an American couple, trying to locate a cafe where they were supposed to meet some friends at. They stood looking around just long enough for me to snap this; then came asking for directions.

Lovely interplay between the old buildings and the modern structures, which is heightened I think by the rain, which has created fantastic reflections.

Reminds me of when we walked round and round that quadrangle searching for the entrace when it was glaringly standing there, in the middle for all to see (except us, that is) ... Duh !

The entrance is easy to spot now - there are crowd control barriers everywhere now leaving only 2 sides of clear view of the pyramids.
