Ropleeeeey....

Photo Information
Went back the second time trying to turn a vision of an image into reality. Not successfully haha. When a train passes without stopping you only get two/three longer exposure shots at most per pass. Then have to wait 40-60 minutes for the next one making it a bit difficult. Maybe next time. Not sure what to think about this one. Thoughts welcome.

The smoke trail suggests this was a heritage steam train. I like the details of the station building through the vision of the ghost train. A good effort all round.

I think that looks very effective, Magdalena. A success in my book!

I can't see why you are berating yourself? This is a lovely new take on an admittedly old theme. I think its success lies in having the blurred, lit windows of the train at the same level as the station windows, which really melds the static and the moving together. The eye is stopped at one end by the locomotive's smoke column and at the other by the station nameboard; then you start looking at it all over again. Great shot.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
