Flowing

Photo Information
I've been reading recently about the virtues of using a CIR PL, previously I'd used them for landscapes but was never too sure about the impact on blue skies and the unevenness they can generate at wider angles. The thing that's reignited my interest is the cutting of reflections and boost in saturation, so armed with my KP + DA20-40mm + Kenko Pro 1 CIR PL I headed out to a local stream for 5 minutes to give it a whirl. I hold my hands up regarding the composition, not the greatest, but as a whole my local stream isn't the prettiest of locations, certainly no Padley Gorge! So had to concentrate on a fairly small area that didn't feature any debris. The shot was hand held and the polariser rotated to lift the stream bed as much as possible, pretty happy with the result and look forward to using it in a more serious way, reckon rock pools would yield some interesting results.
