Tui in the kōwhai

Loving the spring vibe with these guys around more. We planted the yellow flowering kōwhai tree from a seedling, so great to see it as a larger tree now attracting the Tui to it's nectar outside our lounge. Great bird song and colours.

What an unusual bird...seems to be a cross between a Magpie and Starling in UK terms.
