I'm only 4fut3, but I look a lot bigger from a distance

A sexy little Q with 8.5mm Prime.
And a cup with a gorrila on it, it's also chipped a little, but holds tea perfectly well.

Excellent, lovely composition and great colours. I like this approach to Macro work, i.e. not 'super close-up' but paying more attention to the composition and overall look of the image.

The only thing I would say is that it could have done with a narrower aperture to increase the depth of field a bit. All three of the spiders would then have been in pretty sharp focus, maybe F16 or so could have worked. I appreciate this would have made the image more difficult to shoot but this is always the dilemma with macro!

Thanks Betty and David (sounds like a seventy's sitcom), I hear what you say on the aperture level, I was very limited with the light, I shot all these with flash at 1/4 power at around 8pm in an enclosed garden, so I was trying to keep the Iso down and get a good shutter speed as my tripod couldn't access the area where these spiders were.

I appreciate the tips
Kindest Regards

I agree with David's comments re composition but the DOF works fine for me. My only negative is a few dust spots which are visible in the larger view.
