Male Blackcap
by ilovesaabs
We have tits, robins, starlings, pigeons and crows coming into our garden, not expecting to see anything else. Then without glasses I saw what I thought was a chaffinch and then I made out the black feathers on its head. This is a male blackcap.
Twice this week the K-3 had tried to kill itself, and is looking rather unloved. The light was poor but the beast is still able to capture this - at ISO 1250. MF because there are too many distractions for the AF to tackle.
