Snowy Sunday

Something about this scene just reminded me of Lowry's paintings which are always populated by lots of little "matchstick men" figures. I hoped that by not zooming in on any one knot of people but including lots of them and keeping them tiny relative to the background I might recreate the same look.

You are right, even before I read your info, Lowry had sprung to mind, it has that certain inexplicable quality that transforms a shot into art
