if you dont mind me saying if you would have had an off flash to the left of the woman i think this would of been a very good shot indeed it is good but i think it would have been better
Thanks Richard

Nice idea and almost perfect execution. But I have to agree with Richard. I can't decide what was your intension. The figure of the woman is too bright for silhouette and isn't bright enough for a general capture. Maybe an outer flash could solve this situation. I hope my words didn't hurt you.

Yes, so close to being perfect but the guys above are correct, in my opinion. A girl like that in a place like that... a bit of flash in-fill would have done the trick.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I think the exposure could have been brought up a little without using any flash. The highlights in the sky are not high enough. Fill in flash could have introduced unwanted reflections on the wet sand, but it could have been set at an angle to avoid most of this.

The problem is, that both a higher level of exposure or fill-in flash might have detracted from the atmosphere of the shot? I'ts a very difficult one but on balance I do think that more could have been extracted from this image. DSespite that, I like it.

Hi Richard, I wasn't suggesting that flash should not have been used. What I was saying is that the highlights in the sky are not high enough and pointing out that flash used at the wrong angle could have reflected off the sand, note that I did say 'it could have been set at an angle to avoid most of this'

I do think that the shot could have been even better than it is, despite the fact that is very good.
