Higher Tamar Lake dam

by screwdriver222

The Tamar Lakes are near the head of the river Tamar and straddle the Cornwall/Devon border. They are aptly named the Upper Lake and Lower Lake. The Lower Lake was created in 1823 and was used to feed the Bude canal. The Upper Lake was constructed in 1975 to supply Bude with water.
