Can't follow Giulio's lovely poetic comment and subsequent imagery, lets just say I like this a lot.
I hope this helps all us:
"I’ve been too hard in matching this photo and its conceptual meaning (for me). For this I wrote …not to offend(anyone). However the wall (its sides)and the path(to walk) suggested me this idea(synaesthesia). Now I would like to go further. Which side of the wall is the wild one? (This is my first question when looking at the photo).I hope both! What is the opposite of wild? Domestic, Captive, IMHO. I don’t like “prisons and prisoners”. In genomics “wild genes” are “wild types”: natural, former ones, The Original. (Bio)diversity is a chance for Evolution. No Biodiversity NO Evolution. Darwin, Dawkins will be unemployed if evolution didn’t occur. Lou Reed’s song talks about a different type of “wild” but if I think about works of your original Scientist Prof. Dawkins (splitting “gene” and “meme”)I’m sure that evolution of “meme” also passes through the “wild” of the song. Another kind of Biodiversity concerning Cultural Evolution of Mankind. This is a challenge for our Future. Back to the Future and The call of Wild. How many words? The important is that this photo well worth thousands words. I write down my excuses to Scientists above(and All of You in PUG) but their ideas have always been a right Path for me…and sorry for the advanced comparison between meme and wild. Thx to Mary and to her photo that ignited this discussion.
PS I don’t like to forget The Wall of Pink Floyd or the Cave’s Novel by Plato….By the way: sorry for unlikeable words above…I do prefer taking and talking about photos! I’ll remember for next cmt"

When I say 'can't follow' it does not mean 'do not understand'. It means I cannot follow your sincere comment with a comment from myself which would be something probably trite or less meaningful. Have you read 'Butterflies are free to fly: A New and Radical Approach to Spiritual Evolution' by Stephen Davies ?? It includes a lovely passage in considering Plato's Cave philosophy.
Hey Mary. Look at the power of your lens and it's stirring of emotions and thoughts.

Hey and thx for your suggestion to read that book. I didn't know....I knew that you had understood and I do appreciate your words and approach to my cmt....Writing is more difficult than talking to a person when looking at him/her eyes
