Welcome Aadil!

Very good light providing definition to the landscape.

It always stuns me how vistas like this can be so desolate and beautiful.

Very powerful.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments. Very much appreciated. It sure was a great experience standing in front of the highest mountain and looking straight at it in the near distance. It felt like you were staring at the top of the world from the same height. Tibet sure does wonders to anyone who visits the top of the world!!!

amazing place to be - from what I heard, you totally loose all sense of dimensions, you think you are close and then you are still so far away as everything is so big. Must have been an amazing moment to get this mountain in front of your camera....
I personally would have added some more sharpness and contrast to the picture but I am often over the top with these two criteria - so still a great shot

Thanks for your comments, very much appreciated. I generally do not edit any of my pictures once I take them and since this one is on 400 ISO film and then scanned to digitise it may not be as sharp or contrasty as one may get on digital or lesser ISO film, it is just the original picture without any modifications in any photo editing software.

Cheers,
Aadil.

Welcome Aadil! One of the most distinguished places on earth recorded at that height and at that ISO value, and from a distance, and scanned, and without any manipulation! Very good indeed!
