Any more for Cleethorpes?

Photo Information
Not at dusk on a late November evening, the bucket and spade brigade went home months ago!
FTPE 185 139 ready to leave Barnetby with a Manchester Airport - Cleethorpes service.
Not posted for any pictorial qualities but as a demonstration of high ISO performance with one of my K5's. This is at 3200 ISO and when I was using film I would have been quite happy with this result at 400 ISO. This has been sharpened and is low res for uploading purposes but has not had noise reduction applied, some noise can be seen in the sky and on the platform at greater enlargement as may be expected. DA 55-300 lens used and I'm impressed with the resolution at f5 on an f4 lens.

Brings back a recollection of an old radio show (I'm sorry I'll read that again), and something about 'danger and excitement on the 3:15 to Cleethorpes (IIRC!).

Anyway, back to the picture - clarity at ISO 3200 is great!

"Here is the News" - I'm sorry, I'll read that again, "Here ARE the news." (Glad I'm not the only one who is potty !)
It IS a good demo of what the camera is capable of - and a nice picture too.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

There are others who remember it then!! Just looked it up; there is a Youtube clip of this episode and its the 3:17 to Cleethorpes.
(Sorry Stephen for hijacking the image thread!)

Always amazes me just how well the high ISO works! Certainly did here!
