45699 "Galatea" on Whalley Arches

by sportyman531

Jubilee class 45699 "Galatea" on a crew training run around the "Carnforth circuit" (Carnforth- Hellifield-Clitheroe-Preston-Carnforth) on Whalley Arches in a downpour on 17th November 2016. First day out with my recently acquired 35mm prime lens. The light wasn't too bad when I got there but it deteriorated rapidly just before the train appeared (as usual!)

Thanks David, it is the nearest location to me on this line and there are numerous viewpoints from which to photograph trains on the viaduct. It's a good spot for trying something different from the traditional front 3/4 viewpoint.

Regards,

Steve.
