Shrouds of the Somme
Photo Information
A less cropped version of the photo I have entered into this month's competition. This version shows more of the location, although I have used a fog filter on the background to make it less dominant and to give a greater sense of depth.
For those that missed the news coverage this installation of over 72,000 hand crafted figures commemorates British and Commonwealth servicemen killed at the Somme with no known graves. Each figure is about 12 inches tall.
K1 with Tamron 10-24 at 11mm and f16 for required depth of field.
