A Pyschoactive Mushroom

by ebrockwe

Very lovely mushroom, but very poisonous. I hear that the Vikings used this to go off in a trance. They grow a lot in birch woods, and throughout Finland

A fine specimen, nicely framed, good focus and good colour capture. Even better viewed large. I believe this to be the Amanita Muscaria (the Fly-Argaric) used in the past for production of fly killers.
