Twin Curtains of Aurora,

Photo Information
A second shot from friday night. Friday was the better of the two nights I've had so far. Hope the cloud thins a bit, otherwise tonight will be a washout!

Great shot! You are fortunate to be on Iceland. Here in Trondheim there were only very dim auroras to be seen this weekend.

Well done Paul, that is a stunner. I really must make the effort to have a trip to Iceland or Norway to see the lights.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Bjorn, I am actually in Sweden, at Abisko.

David, Abisko is famous for it's clear weather, although looking outside at the moment you wouldn't believe it! The display here on Friday 8th was magnificent.

Paul: Sorry, I remember now from your first photo that you are in Sweden. Abisko is close to Narvik and rather a long distance from Trondheim. I was watching out for the Northern Lights here on Friday, but there was only very weak activity. I hope you have more clear skies and Northern Lights during your stay in Sweden!
