The wrong kind of wind

by davidtrout

A railway photographer's worst nightmare, the wrong kind of wind which can ruin a shot. Flying Scotsman almost lost in its own steam as it crosses the Tyne on Newcastle's King Edward Bridge at the head of the Highlands and Islands tour train.

Nothing to apologize for because it’s interesting variation on a theme, as it were. Steam trail contrasts nicely with the lines of the ridge.

... and you arranged the steam so well so that we can see the number just to prove that it's Flying Scotsman. Amazing.

Still pretty good; as Graham says, we can still see the number!
