The Vistor - A Japanese Green Pheasant?

by MikeInDevon

A few months ago we had a White Pheasant visit us for several days, it's still being occasionally spotted around our village.

But today we had another unusual visitor, I think it could be a Japanese Green Pheasant, bold as brass it spent quite a while in our garden checking it out and sampling the various bird food offerings, maybe we'll see it again?

Big crop and slight PP using DxO, shot through double glazing, a high ISO as rather dull daylight.

Sometimes you just gotta take the picture. Given the situation it's rather good.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
