The Steep and Narrow Steps

Took a while to get the composition right and then just as I pressed the button a man with carrier bags appeared at the top of the steps (and he very slowly made his way down) - it took a lot more processing than I'd normally do to equalize the overexposed and underexposed areas while still keeping a decent tonal range and good contrast. Quite pleased with the end product, especially as it nearly ended up in the bin

Not only well deserved as a POTW, it comes from a 'stable' of excellent images that have been shared recently. Excellent work here, as is the sharing.
