The eye of the.. Spotted Thick Knee

Getting up close and personal with a small flock of Spotted Thick Knees (called Stone Curlews in the UK I think) at Zoo Lake. About 6 birds in total, and I sneaked up to one, hiding behind a tree. Shot with the Tamron 70-300mm Macro lens.
