I have had the pleasure, (in years gone past), watching this take off many times as an operational machine. WE MUST ENSURE IT CONTINUES TO FLY.

Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro, Sigma 10-20 f.4-5.6.EX DC, Hoya 135 f2.8, Take on 28mm f2.8 Pentax AF360 flash, 2 fill in slaves. 30 metre remote release, Rt angle viewfinder, Giotto NOT 3261B Tripod with Manfrotto 808Rd4 ball head, Manfroto 4861RC2 monopoly, shoulder stock, various filters etc, Panasonic SET HBS HD Video cam, Tamrac Explorer 8x backpack and a sore back.....

I agree - i have watched the Vulcan flying a couple of times at airshows in the late eighties (I think- maybe early nineties) and it is a truly impressive machine, and worth preserving I think...

when i was a boy many years ago my dad took me to RAF gaydon battle of britain air show and they had a vulcan on static park till the very end then it flew back to its base and we all had to move back 500 yrds for safety reasons the noise and heat was out of this world long my it continue if anybody knows when the next vulcan flight is please let me know

My daughters husbands brother flew to the falklands in one of these and we have part of one of the engines turned into a plaque. Great shot.
