Thanks Spad , I was challenging my perception and chancing my arm, both simultaneously

One small complaint ..... If you slowly scroll the image up so it disappears off the top of the monitor and stop at the horizontal black/white boundary, you will see that it isn't exactly horizontal ! I saw it instantly and when something like this should be bang on the error really jars. The idea is another matter - I love it.

Thanks Davidwoz for pointing that out. I am totally aware of this but imperfection sometimes as others have hinted.
