A Speckled Wood Butterfly seen in my garden today (28th April). It seemed to like our hydrangea.

K-7 with the Samsung version of the DFA100 macro.
F5.0, 1/400sec & ISO 200.

Thanks Guys. It did seem to involve quite a bit of luck. The butterfly had settled on an unobscured leaf, allowed me to get fairly close and when I got too close and it flew off it came back to the same bush.

So the butterfly should get most of the credit
