Shafts of light in Borrowdale

From the same session last February, these really were stopped down and then shadows recovered. Some of the raw files were almost black apart from the light areas.

Thanks, I'll oblige. They are really hard to process and to get "right". I usually process as soon after taking as I can but this set needs some space and time to consider what sort of image I wanted to create.

Beautiful lighting in the valley but I'm afraid that I find the bright patch of sky in the top left hand corner a major distraction. Might it be worth cropping it out?
