by MikeInDevon

A local wood, its was raining and misty, no problem for Pentax kit!

Cropped (16:9 ratio) and adjusted using DxO.

This is a gorgeous image. It's as if the trees are conspiring to lure you in there with promises of further wonder.

Thanks guys.

Out of the camera the result was far too light, this inspite of my habitual underexposing by 2/3 stop, so I adjusted the image to make it look more like how my eye's saw it.

Which exposure mode were you using? If was 'spot' and you focused on a tree trunk it would have exposed for the darkness. Your EXIF of 1/30, wide open @ ISO1600 suggests that the camera thought it was in a dark cave!

It was Centre Weighted Average. It was rather dark under the tree canopy.
