Well this is a bit of a deviance from your typical style Simon - you've kept your excellent composition and brilliant mono processing, but you've selected a perfect aperture to concentrate the eye on the main subject. I haven't looked back through your previous posts but I think that many of your images use a smaller aperture to allow the viewer to dart around the equally interesting subjects given the same level level of sharpness. You've judged this one perfectly in my opinion - a very understated POTW for me
