Soap bubble bokeh from a Radionar 105mm?

I was aiming to get a nice bokeh but I wasn't expecting soap bubbles from this lens. Lens to leaf, about 3feet. Leaf to the torrent of water, about 12feet. Lens wide open at f4.5.
