Farewell to XH558
by PeterKR
I have posted other pics taken on the same day but as we come to the end of 2015 and the last Vulcan is now grounded, I felt it appropriate to post this shot of XH558 being 'escorted off the premises', by a Guard of Honour of the Red Arrows, at Fairford in July.

Best wishes,

Many thanks for all your kind comments.
This was a very nostalgic occasion and I took lots of shots of the Vulcan, knowing it would be my last chance.
I was so pleased that the weather was kind as good light makes all the difference to these kind of shots, especially with this 'general purpose' lens.
As regards to compo you just have to hope that they fly past at the right angle so I was lucky there also.
Thanks again
Best regards
Peter
