Backlit Deer

Checking through some of my earliest digital images I found this from December 2006. taken after I had recently bought my first digital camera, a Pentax istDS which I believe had a mere 6MP censor. I've now reprocessed the image and reckon its a fair result for a pioneering camera without the advanced technical abilities of modern DSLRs.

Don't knock it, it's a very capable camera! ... as demonstrated here. The composition is nice too, especially getting the deer's head against the tree trunk.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
