Paint it Indigo
by GIULIO57
Several times I passed in front of this facade but that afternoon sunrays hitted it giving an interesting mix of textures and colors back. I have choosen file underexposed of 1/3 (to enhace shades of colors) and then managed in Photomatix (single file tonemapped). After that pp in PS just using a little bit of Lens Correction. I was not perfectly in front of that building because only a small area was useful to take a perfect picture but it was a private held area (bank). So I was obliged to stay at right looking at left (sun rays came from left). In that village at south of Siena there are many different buildings with nice balconies and facades. Camera on monopod. Pentax Zoom 55-300m. Paint it Black was in my mind…ehh!!!!
PS 8 days at my home prison while walking lanes (sidewalk)are dirty for dog-s…ts, clothes, pigeons eating waste-bread, spits, rubbish. Where is sanitation in such an emergency? Keep your shoes clean! Right even (with)out emergency!

Well worth stopping for that. Nice treatment of it.

Great image getting almost surreal with the contrasting yellow and blue.
And light from the left adding texture.

Very eye-catching Giulio.
Nice and level as well following the lines of bricks.
Good one.

A very strong image helped by the simple composition, colour and lighting. Having that light on the bricks in the wall top left side adds life to the photograph.
