Steam in colour

by davidtrout

Similar to my recent mono post at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway of King Class steam loco King Edward II accelerating out of Grosmont. I never thought the GWR King Class looked right in British Rail express blue because their natural colour was Brunswick green. But a previous photo of this engine at Broadway and last Saturday at Grosmont changed my mind.

The detail on the locomotive is outstanding.
Nicely composed.
Very well taken.
